This absolutely amazes me! If the government cannot shut down the farmers with logic, they come after them through a different agency (read “Thug”) with another trumped-up charge! Now it’s the “White Bluffs Bladder Pod”! They are using the Fish & Wildlife knit-wits on this one and botanist Dr. Greenwald of Portland; telling us the White Bluffs Bladder pod is a “endangered” sub-species bladder pod, attempting to place a 1,000 ft. ‘buffer-zone’ from the river’s edge. This would put all the farms and orchards on the bluff out of business!

This is so wrong from so many aspects, it is ridiculous we have to address it as an ‘issue’ because it should be a non-issue! My wife, Diana, and I attended a meeting on Thursday, June 6^th, sponsored by the Washington State Farm Bureau, to inform the farmers and interested public on this proposed action by the FWB. I would encourage everybody to get involved in this effort.

Why? Even if you aren’t a farmer, you eat! If the FWB imposes this stupid “rule”, the EPA will use it to follow suit and it would take 78% of Washington state’s agricultural lands out of production! These bureaucrats would be stealing 78% of privately owned agricultural property, using junk science to do it!

Do you know what science a botanist used to determine the White Bluff Bladder Pod was a “sub-species”? Hold onto your temper …. The botanist determined it a ‘sub-species’ because it “looks different” than other bladder pods! You heard me right; it looks different. Now that is top- rate “science” there – Junk science! There are over 200 “sub-species” of bladder pod in the United States because they “look different”! I have pulled this weed from my garden year after year and I don't live near White Bluffs!

My wife made a good point on this: She looked around the room and she saw people taller than her (that’s not hard, she’s 4’11”), she saw people with larger noses and smaller noses, some were overweight, some were slim … They all “looked different” than her and using the botanist’s “logic” and “science”, they must all be “sub-species” and because they are all “different”, they must be ‘endangered’! Ridiculous? Certainly; but no more ridiculous than a highly educated person labeling a weed “endangered” using the same “test” my wife applied!

None of the over 200 “sub-species” of bladder pod has ever been DNA tested to prove there are any “sub-species” and, surprisingly, none of the other listings had anybody challenge the classifications. This can be done for $10,000.00, and your would think that the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service could afford that pittance from their $2,343,000,000.00 ($2.34 Billion) budget but, no; they’d rather just condemn the land without any expenditure! This time, they are not going to get away with it! There is some kind of Gel test that can be done and the U. of Idaho is doing it for the Washington State Farm Bureau but it is the farmers of Franklin County that “ponied-up” the $10,000.00, out of their individual farm budgets to prove once and for all whether we have “sub-species” of this weed.

The next question that went through my mind is, “Why would a highly educated, highly paid professional want to name a new sub-species without real proof?” I got my answer from an agronomist: The botanist gets to name the sub-species and any time the sub-species is talked about, it is referenced with the “discoverer’s” name! Ergo: EGO!! Plus, it assures that botanist a job.

They go to college for several years and when they get their diploma, they have two choices for a job in their chosen field: The “greenies” like the Sierra Club, or they can go to work for the government, looking for “sub-species”! Can you say government overreach? I knew you could.

Needless to say, the farmers and the Farm Bureau are fighting this but they need help. You can write letters and donate money:

Two public hearings on the endangered species listing for the White Bluffs bladderpod are scheduled for July 11 in Pasco.

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is holding the meetings as part of the 60-day comment period it recently reopened after public outcry and legal threats over the lack of notice during a comment period last year.

The sessions are from 3 to 5 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. at TRAC, 6600 Burden Blvd.

Let me state unequivocally at the beginning: This will not be "politically correct"! If you are a Muslim, you are welcome to worship your moon god, Allah, to your heart’s content but as an American, a natural-born citizen of the United States of America, you can kiss my rosy red butt if you think I am going to change my lifestyle or hide my Christian faith in the only true God of the universe just so I don’t upset your sensitive feelings!

You are the most intolerant cult ever known to mankind and I will not try to appease you in any way; I have turned my cheek one too many times! This moron in the White House is either a Muslim or an absolute Judas toward the American people and should be tried for treason! Now the idiots in D.C. are kowtowing to this Judas and allowing his administration to rewrite the objectives in the “War on Terror”, which is a total fallacy, perpetrated by both political parties to keep us in a perpetual war all over the globe! I used to call D.C. the “District of Criminals” but I have come to realize it is better described and the “District of Cowards”!

No more are they concerned with “jihad”; now their concern is “militia” – Somehow they think the state militias are the terrorists and the radical Muslims are poor, misunderstood little boys who, when they don’t get their way, blow themselves up and as many other people as their pea-brained bomb will take out with them! Our military is not allowed to express their faith, here in the U.S. of A.! The moron in the White House is and has been forcing all loyal military leaders out of the military – Why! Being a moron, advised by idiots, he cannot see that this will not work because the American people won’t allow it!

To the Muslims who came here for “political asylum” and are on welfare: Get a job, pay taxes, assimilate to the American way of life or get the hell out of my country! Go back to that ‘wonderful’ nation you escaped from – We don’t need your parasitic ways; we don’t need your ‘honor killings’; we don’t need your beheadings; and we certainly don’t want or need your Sharia “law”!

You have abused some of the most tolerant people on earth and shown them nothing but contempt and hatred! Now, the majority of Americans, British, Dutch, Swedish, and French people wish you’d go back to the middle east where you were spawned!

I call for the idiots in D.C. to end this perpetual war and bring our troops home from around the world and let the Muslims kill themselves off; they don’t need any help! Let Israel deal with this vermin! Do I hate Muslims? No, but I haven’t seen one I could love either; I do dislike everything they stand for: Allah, Muhammad, the Quran, Sharia “law”, their attitude toward all women, and their cowardice in using their women and children as human shields! They are without honor! May God have mercy on their souls!

I read an interesting article about the school in Union Grove, Wisconsin, was “teaching” political philosophy to 8^th Graders … Without any further reading, my first thought was, “Why teach political philosophy to 12 and 13 year-olds?” Politics is the furthest thing from their impressionable minds, which answered my question of why … It’s not “teaching”; it’s indoctrinating!

I read the rest of the article and was not disappointed in my first reaction … They were lying about both sides but, of course, indoctrinating against conservatism! Political philosophy cannot be a theme of education in public schools; it is unfair for teachers, publicly-paid, to indoctrinate about anything! Their job is to teach how to think; not what to think! We can thank the teachers’ unions and the Dept. of “Education” for the ‘dumbing-down’ of generations of our children to further the reliance on Big Government!

What did they say that was so bad about conservatives? It’s what they said about both political philosophies and the setting in which they said it I find so offensive. ‘Conservatism’ was described as:

“The political belief of preserving traditional moral values by restricting personal freedoms and encouraging prosperity through economic freedom.”

‘Liberalism’ was described as:

“The political belief of equality and personal freedom for everyone, often changing the current system to increase government protection of civil liberties.”

According to their indoctrination, conservatives want to restrict personal freedoms and liberals believe in ‘equality’ and ‘personal freedom for everyone’, changing government to increase government protection of ‘civil liberties’. What a pile of crap! This indoctrination is done for the sole purpose of making the Republicans look like the enemy and the Democrats look like the nation’s “heroes” … This has nothing to do with “conservatives” and “liberals” but has everything to do with brain washing our children to be ‘good citizens’ and think in the ‘collective’!

First of all: The Republican Party needs no help to establish themselves as enemies of Liberty but the same can be said of the Democrat Party; they are even worse enemies of Liberty! Understand this, I am referring to the political parties “leadership” much more-so than the members of the parties.

The GOP “leadership” is made up of progressives, neo-cons, and RINO’s … Not conservatives!

The Democrat “leadership” is made up of progressives, which is another name for socialists and communists … Not liberals!

Dictionary.com defined conservatism as:

“The disposition to preserve or restore what is established and traditional and to limit change.”

“A political philosophy advocating the preservation of the best of the established order in society and opposing radical change.”

The online Merriam-Webster dictionary defined conservatism as:

“A political philosophy based on tradition and social stability, stressing established institutions, and preferring gradual development to abrupt change; specifically : such a philosophy calling for lower taxes, limited government regulation of business and investing, a strong national defense, and individual financial responsibility for personal needs.”

Dictionary.com defined liberalism as:

“A political or social philosophy advocating the freedom of the individual, parliamentary systems of government, nonviolent modification of political, social, or economic institutions to assure unrestricted development in all spheres of human endeavor, and governmental guarantees of individual rights and civil liberties.”

Merriam-Webster dictionary defined liberalism as:

“A political philosophy based on belief in progress, the essential goodness of the human race, and the autonomy of the individual and standing for the protection of political and civil liberties; specifically: such a philosophy that considers government as a crucial instrument for amelioration of social inequities (as those involving race, gender, or class).”

Now we can discuss which philosophy better fits a representative republic; not the abomination we call the federal government today … It has little resemblance to the republic established in 1787!

But, before we do that, I need to say that we must stop the government from indoctrinating our children! If we don’t, this nation is doomed to fail and become a dictatorship! Our children must learn our founding documents and fully understand what self-governance means and the responsibilities they must assume to remain a free man or woman. To do this, we must take back control of our local schools from the government! Our battle for this might be insurmountable with these 2 political parties because their sole purpose is to gain total control of the people and what better way than through the perversion of our education system!

We must recognize and accept that there is evil in this world – Always has been and always will be. We must also recognize and accept, as our founding fathers did, that humans are flawed; we make decisions that are wrong and that is why the Constitution was crafted the way it was: To minimize the damage those decisions can make. Our founding fathers, the crafters of our Constitution created a limited federal government with the legislative branch having the most power. It was the legislative branch, specifically the House of Representatives, that was to create the budget of the government and the Senate to vote it up or down with and without amendments. The finalized spending bill then went to the Executive Branch for signature or veto. The President could not spend the money allocated by the legislative branch for any other purpose but what the budget allowed him/her to. The President could elect not to spend allocated money but it remained in the federal treasury until the next budget round. The third branch was to be the weakest: the Judiciary … What a flagrant lie that has become! The judiciary is supposed to “serve at the pleasure of” the other legislative branch and concurrence of the Executive Branch. The U.S. Supreme court’s decisions were to be used as “advisories” to the legislative branch; they were not to dictate to the legislature! The Court was to base its decisions on “original intent” of the founders, not ‘case law’ and ‘precedent’ because, in most cases, case-law and precedent go against the very intent of original intent!

I don’t have the answers to these problems but I am able to identify them. The answers will come from the people recognizing the problems and discussing solutions with no help from the GOP or Democrats because, along with this behemoth federal government, they are the problem!
